Nestled in the heart of the West Rand, 1st Discovery Scout Group is a vibrant, rapidly growing community dedicated to fostering adventure, leadership, and lifelong skills in young people. As part of Scouts South Africa, we embrace the core principles of tradition, honour, and pride while encouraging spiritual, mental, social, and physical development through exciting outdoor activities, team-building games, and community service.Our group features two inclusive divisions: Mixed Cubs (ages 7-10) for budding explorers and Mixed Scouts (ages 11-18) for aspiring leaders. With a team of 6 experienced Scouters guiding the way, we offer a supportive environment where boys and girls can thrive, make friends, and create lasting memories.If you’re between 7 and 18 and passionate about sports, the great outdoors, fitness, fun games, and plenty of laughter, join us at 1st Discovery—where every adventure builds confident, responsible citizens ready to make a positive impact!
